Burdock Oil

Burdock, Arctium lappa, is a biennial plant that is native to the temperate regions of the Old World.  It has been a favorite medicinal herb for centuries and has a long traditional history in herbal and folk medicine as a treatment for many ailments.   Burdock root oil, also called Bur oil, is used to promote healthy hair and modern studies indicate that it is rich in phytosterols and essential fatty acids, nutrients that are required to support a healthy scalp and natural hair growth.  Burdock oil is created by combining the root of the Burdock plant with some type of plant based oil, such as olive oil and its beneficial properties help to promote and support healthy hair.
